Broadband Features
Fast upload and download speedBroadband providers typically offer connection speeds between 1Mbps and 8Mbps (Megabits per second) with some such as ourselves also able to offer newer technology with much faster speeds up to 20Mbps for ADSL2+ or 40Mbps for Fibre to the Cabinet. Compared to a dial-up modem (normally 56kbps), a Broadband connection means you can download web pages incredibly fast.The upload speed represents the speed at which you can send email messages or information from your computer to the Internet. This doesn't need to be as high as the download speed, as the majority of traffic is sent from the internet to your computer. 448 Kbps (Kilobits per second) is the standard upload speed provided by BT but this can be as high as 1.3Mbps for ADSL2+ or 10Mbps for Fibre with the top of the range packages. 
Always ONBroadband gives you an 'always on' connection and flat unmetered access. This means there are no BT phone call charges for your Internet usage, once you've paid your low monthly fee to Total Web Solutions you can use the Internet 24 hours a day, 7 days a week without further charges. Flat fees also mean you can budget more accurately for your communications costs. 
Flexible ContractYou have the choice of a 1 Months notice contract or a 12 month contract on the Small Office 20M and Office 20M (ADSL/ADSL2+) services. The 12 month contract is better value as we will cover the setup fee from BT (currently £45 + VAT).Monthly Contract: We understand that a 12 month contract may not be suitable for a variety of reasons so we offer a one month notice contract on the Small Office 20M and Office 20M products. Due to the short notice period you will have to pay the setup cost if you choose this option (currently £45 + VAT).Yearly Contract: If you sign up for a yearly contract (payable monthly by direct debit) we will not charge the setup cost (currently £45 + VAT ).Please note: Customers taking advantage of our free migration are subject to an initial 12 month contract, followed by the monthly contract stated above. Monthly contract not applicable to Business 40M or Corporate 40M products. 
Free Web Space And EmailsIncluded in your broadband package free of charge is 100Mb of Space and 11 Email Addresses. Anti Spam and Anti Virus protection included as standard.Web Space You will automatically be provided with web space that you can use to upload web pages to using either FTP or using your broadband admintool. The URL of the web space will be similar to www.twsbroadband.co.uk/tw8888bEmail Addresses By default one POP3 mailbox and 10 aliases will be provided of the format tw8888b@twsbroadband.co.uk The aliases can be set to whatever you want using your broadband admintool. For example you could have lucy@twsbroadband.co.uk or bobsmith@twsbroadband.co.uk (subject to it being available). The alias emails will be forwarded automatically to your POP3 mailbox, which you can check using our Web Mail facility or via a standard POP3 software like outlook express. | ||
